OUR FACILITY
Our nearly 20,000-square-foot facility incorporates an open floor plan for close supervision and direct patient care, modern exercise and therapy equipment, computer stations and a variety of occupational work stations.
Parking
Garage parking is available at RIW in our underground parking garage, and there is ample metered street parking as well. There are height restrictions in the garage – if you have an oversized vehicle, you may need to find alternative parking nearby. There are two handicap parking spaces in the garage.
Lodging
Patients who live far away, or who are medically unable to commute to RIW, may stay in a private and secure apartment at the Queen Anne Thomas Apartments, located just two blocks away from RIW. We will make these arrangements for you and obtain authorization for payment from your claims manager.
Rooms are fully furnished 1-bedroom apartments with a queen-sized bed and full kitchen. There is Satellite TV and a DVD player in each room. Kitchens are reasonably well equipped for meal preparation. Coin-operated laundry is located onsite. Parking is also available onsite or at the RIW garage. The Queen Anne Thomas Apartments are 100% non-smoking.
Food services are not provided, however patients can prepare their own food in the kitchen, or eat in nearby restaurants. The neighborhood boasts an abundance of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. It is the patient’s responsibility to save receipts and turn them in to their insurance company for food or meal reimbursement.
The Queen Anne Thomas Apartments are located in the lower Queen Anne area of Seattle. The neighborhood offers a wide selection of shops, cafes, and theaters, as well as the Seattle Center and Key Arena, all within walking distance.
