Patients who live far away, or who are medically unable to commute to RIW, may stay in a private and secure room at the Mediterranean Inn, located just 1/2 block away from RIW. We will make these arrangements for you and obtain authorization for payment from your claims manager. Rooms are fully furnished studio guestrooms with a single bed and kitchenette. There is cable TV and a DVD player in each room. Kitchenettes are equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and hot plate for some meal preparation. The Mediterranean Inn is a 100% non-smoking establishment.
Food services are not provided, however patients can prepare their own food in the kitchenette, or eat in nearby restaurants. The Inn has a Starbucks in the lobby, and the neighborhood boasts an abundance of restaurants and grocery stores. It is the patient’s responsibility to save receipts and turn them in to their insurance company for food or meal reimbursement.
Our facility is located in the lower Queen Anne area of Seattle. The neighborhood also offers a shops, cafes, and theaters, as well as the Seattle Center within walking distance of RIW.
